Welcome to Your Catholic Voice

Here's how you can help:

  1. Become a Your Catholic Voice Member: As a Your Catholic Voice Member, you, in partnership with Your Catholic Voice, can become a powerful force for positive change in your local community and join your voice to millions who share your convictions.
  2. Activate your family, friends, and neighbors: By contributing information about people who feel as you do, and activating them into the system.
  3. Education: Educate your family, friends, and neighbors about Your Catholic Voice and our mission to mobilize and educate the dynamic movement and association of Catholic citizens, working with other people of faith and all people of good will to promote the common good.

On October 22, 1978, Pope John Paul II stepped out on to the balcony in St. Peters Square and signaled his mission: "Be Not Afraid! Open up, no; swing wide the gates to Christ. Open up to his saving power the confines of the State, open up economic and political systems, the vast empires of culture, civilization and development. Be not afraid!" he proclaimed to cheering throngs of the faithful gathered in St. Peter's square.

The mission of "Your Catholic Voice" is to respond to that call. We are using the power of the internet to promote Catholic education, awareness and activism at the grassroots level and building a large grassroots association and movement of educated, convinced and effective Your Catholic Voice Member to serve the common good.

We engage in this mission of political and social participation in response to our baptismal vocation and in an effort to respond to the call of the Church. This was most recently stated by the Bishops of the United States in their wonderful letter "On Faithful Citizenship"

"In the Catholic tradition, responsible citizenship is a virtue; participation in the political process is a moral obligation. Every believer is called to faithful citizenship, to become an informed, active and responsible participant in the political process."

Your Catholic Voice is becoming a powerful force for change in our country. The changes that we seek will promote the common good. We will bring truly human values, informed by our faith, into the public square, the public conversation and the legislation and governance of the country. In so doing we know that all men and women will benefit.

We are committed to protecting human life, promoting family life, pursuing social justice and practicing solidarity. We believe that such a movement for change and a voice - "Your Catholic Voice" - is missing from the current political and social conversation and the legislation and governance of our nation. Don't wait - join the new generation of Your Catholic Voice Members Today!
